So.... I bought a 4th card and it will arrive Sat. I'll test it and see if it's better, then I'll keep the top 3 of the 4 cards and give one of my kids the reject. They don't OC so stock will be a nice upgrade for them.

Wow! Nice way to handle that. thumb.gif

Thanks guys. I just couldn't justify an RMA on a working card but did want to try to do better.

The Return of Po

When we last saw our hero he was basking in the glow of fresh deliveries. Since then though things have gone poorly for our panda friend...

First, he had to battle the fierce cable attack of the dreaded PSU brothers.

Once he defeated them he discovered a new land...

... complete with Mount SLI ...

... and the valley of the teeny tiny RAM.

Moving onward Po discovered the great reservoir of the ancients...

... and the windy plains.

So I have completed testing everything, and it all checks out. I have run out of excuses to put off fan assembly and sleeving, so that's the weekend chore.

I'll like start staging everything once I get the fans put together to start planning out the custom cable runs for the Aquaero's and fans.

BTW, the fans I am using now are not spare GT's, they are some Helix 120mms I had bought during my personal fan selection testing.

Put a minor overclock on the CPU and tested the temps. It was pretty encouraging for a higher 24/7 OC once I get the loop and blocks all installed.

Love the look of that res...I really like the way Danger Den put it together without threading the acrylic.

Plus, can I be one of your kids? biggrin.gif
