Lordy, this thing is gonna be scary fast. I feel bad all it's power is going to be used on something like WoW. This baby could fold like nobody's business... subbed anyway.

Also, I'm curious. Why the pink colour scheme?

Oh I'll be folding with it, and I do video editing to as a side hobby.

WoW is just a passion is all.

Pink comes from me trying to get my wife to support this venture, which meant soliciting her input on the color scheme. She didn't like the blue that I did, so to "seal the deal" I went with her color choices. They are growing on me smile.gif

Caselabs shipped my case today! wheee.gif

Also, picked up the 3930K at Microcenter, and my Samsung RAM came in, plus the Blu-Ray. Apparently I had another box arrive but it needs a signature so my wife will pick it up Thu.

Here's some pics of the gear, nothing sexy yet. The RAM is TINY, I stuck an old Corsair stick I had under them for scale comparison.

It's Christmas in August!

Three boxes of gear came in. Here's some pictures of what came in. I left things in plastic for now until the case comes in and I am putting stuff together.

First up, the 2 Seagate 3T drives. I found a Po figure from McDonald's a few years ago, he'll be making a repeat appearance in the pictures.

Next up, SSDs - the sticker came with the drives

The Duralene came in as well, looks pretty sharp.

Next up - the Heatkiller GPU blocks. I'll take a clear picture without plastic once I start assembling things.

The 40 GT AP-15's came in as well, guess we all know what I'm doing this weekend.

The ASUS Rampage IV Extreme came in as well, along with the VRM/Chipset blocks for it. No pics of the blocks yet, I'll post them once assembly starts.

More boxes were waiting for me today after work. I have everything in now except the case, 670s and PSU, all of which should be delivered Monday.

FIrst off, here's the Danger Den reservoirs.

Here is one of the res on the 120.3 Monsta. They weren't kidding when they named the series Monsta!

Here's the 120.3 with some fans.

Here's one of the 120.4's, with and without fans.

Here's all of the 120.4's together. Now that is a lot of cooling!

Here's one of the MCP35X2's on the heatsink. I didn't bother taking both out since they look the same. I have an 80mm fan for under the heatsink to help.

And finally the EK CPU Block. I hope it performs as well as I think it will.

So I'm doing up the system's wattage and starting to get worried. It will all fit inside the 1200's envelop if I don't OC anything, but what's the fun in that.

I'm going to put the Aquaero 5 (which covers fans), the pumps, the SSDs, the HDDs, the optical drive and all the LED lighting on a separate PSU. I don't want to split up the main components across PSU's so that there are no clock sync issues with them. That should give me head room for OC's on the 3930 and the 670s.

Of course now I need to order another PSU support for the TH10.

Oh well, I need time to paint the fans, individually test the components before I remove blocks, sleeve a bunch of wiring, etc.

Adding the Corsair AX650 to the build, original post updated.

Let me know how loud the pumps are if you test them. I have planned to use two in the pedestal.
