Thanks guys, welcome to the party!

Latest updates:

  • I solved my spacing issue on the right side front fans - went to home depot and picked up 10-32 machine screws in 1/2 inch length and 1/4 hex nuts (so that the machine screw would fit through without engaging. The machine screw is just the right size to engage the fan hole and the hex nut is about 5mm in depth, so it pushes the fan up against the front of the holder and holds it securely. I'll have some pictures up sometime this weekend.
  • Was putting together my reservoirs in the double holder I bought for them and went to mount them to the back middle fan of the 120.3, but I don't have screws long enough; I'll see what I can hunt up in Dallas manually and if I can't I'll have to order. For those in the same situation - you need M3-35mm
  • I temporarily placed the Aquareo 5 in with the water block, and I think I'm going to have to change my loop plan. Originally I had it being in the loop right before the 2nd res, but given it's proximity to the 120.4 and 120.3 fittings I now plan to place it between those 2 rads to minimize the tubing having to run into that little space, back out, and the rad tubing having to route around it. You'll see what I mean when I post pics later this weekend
  • I will start the tubing this weekend; I am considering running all the blocks in the first part of the loop instead of separating the CPU/GPU into part 1 and the Chipset/VRM blocks in the 2nd loop. If anyone has any strong opinions on the pro/cons of that please put your $0.02 in...

Here is the end of the long weekend update. No pics since nothing got finished enough.

  • Spent most of the weekend doing the fan harnesses, I got 2 completed and the pieces needed to make the other 3
  • Did up the power and aquabus cables for Aquaero 5
  • Mocked up the door for the hidden light switches in the ped
  • Mentally mapped out the tubing but still not happy with it
  • Running out of sleevng and I thought I had too much; I'll need to order more.

If this is still in the process of being built....what are you folding with? I noticed you fly by me the other day eek.gif lol....and I was wondering what kind of hardware you have pushing all that PPD out?

LOL Mustang Tracks

Since I am busy working on the new build I have my current machine folding; it's an air cooled overclocked i7 2600 (2500? whatever - 2nd gen i7) with 2 stock GTX 570's folding pretty much 24/7. I think I have the i7 at 4.3 or 4.4Ghz. I get between 56k and 63k PPD.

Likely will have it fold and do off-board rendering as needed once the new beast is done, although my wife told me last night she had plans for my PC to run her Mafia Wars sessions; talk about overkill for a web based game smile.gif
