Congrats on a top build. Enjoy.

Not sure you can conclude that here. Regular shows improvement in temps when flow increases and fans are held the same. Increases are minor because his flow is adequate even under the lowest settings. Flow is important, and improves temps, until you get up past 1gpm. After that....less important.

Yeah, but the returns diminish really fast. I know some people care about the last degree, but unless you really want to squeeze out the very last bit of performance, even 0.5gpm gets very good temperatures in my testing, and that's with 3 GPUs in parallel so not even 0.2gpm each. Going up to 1.2gpm or so only improves by a degree or so, if that, if my testing is anything to go by.

Hey Reglar. In the picture, it appears like your tubing running across the top either doesn't have fluid in it, or it is stained or something? Is that just the pic, or is something going on?

Also we are now 4/6HM MV, 6/6HOF and 4/4 ToeS. Hope all is well, are you still pushing progression?

?

This was answered a page or two back. It's a stained fill port tube that's not full.

Oops, thanks for pointing that out JW, I appreciate it.

What a great build!! Congratulations Reglar!!! biggrin.gif

Nice build! Was there a flow diagram anywhere in this thread? It's hard to try to follow the lines from photos when it's so packed with tubes.

Thanks, I did run Prime95 for the first tests, and compared with folding, and there wasn't a really big change in temps.

Thanks! First post has the original loop diagram - Post 1 - but the build drifted a bit from that in the first part of the loop has all the blocks and the 2nd part of the loop has all the rads.

Reglar,

Awesome build I just finished reading the whole thread and I am really impressed with your Build it is Epic and my 4 year old loves the color but she wants me to build one that is Purple, Orange, pink and green!!! rolleyes.gifdoh.gif

But it I think i have found a way to make this work. I am going to get a white Cl Magnum STH10 with extended top and pedestal, actually thinking of getting 2 pedestals lol.biggrin.gif

Going to have case white and fittings black but sleeve the wires in those colors like she said. Then put these in.

with this

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32023 so i am hoping this makes her happy and the wife also lol. Important as you know. upsidedwnsmiley.gif:whistle:

I will not be starting my build until after the first of the year. (waiting on yearly bonus from work!!) but i did get a lot of ideas from you and saw some things you did i am going to incorporate and change a little for the better i hope. I also plan on doing like you did and do a lot of testing along the way because i am working on something that i think will work to keep my water temps below ambient but above dew point and i am going to use a TEC CPU cooler to keep the temp of my cpu close to dew point also.

I just read and learn mainly on these threads. dont want to say something unless i see something bad wrong and all i saw here was awsome. so i will wait until i am doing my won builds and make comments then. also kind of hard to make comments and suggestions when you catch the builds when they are 90 to 100% finished. but again i saw a truly epic build.

also AquaComputer should return all the money you spent on the AQ items as it sold me on it. ii was considering it but now i know i will use this 100%. they got a lot of free advertisement from this thread. you should send it to them maybe they will sponsor a build for you. well have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I will be bugging you next year for advise and help be sure of this. cant wait to start my own.
