End of weekend update.

Sleeving of motherboard cable finally done, but I used up way more heat shrink than I wanted so I need to order some more.

Overall it came out ok, not perfect but ok. The PSU side of the cable is more ratty, but I'll live with it.



You can see here the pigtail I needed to do for the 3.3V return feed. I may untangle the rats nest when I put everything together but right now I just don't have the patience to futz with it.



Painting is done though. Last pieces are drying but here's pics of the finished frames and blades. Assembly will happen this week.




Here's a pic of the motors and adapters from the AP-15's.



I did not get to test the components, so I'll do that Monday.

Stupid question: What is the 3.3v return feed for?

Thanks guys, took me all day, I expect the rest will go faster once I get the additional heat shrink (order placed today with Nils).

I have no idea what the 3.3V return feed is for, I just know it's there based on the wiring diagram I found on wikipedia. It's a larger guage wire (ie smaller size) than the normal power line for 3.3V. It's also not on the motherboard cable for the AS650 I have for the build.
