The cross-flow ex360 rad would fit nicely with your diagram in post #7 and is a little thinner than the BIX.

I agree that you will only need the primary inlet and outlet of the Apogee HD. But perhaps a photo about the potential of the Apogee HD will answer questions we tried to answer with text. From: http://www.swiftech.com/ApogeeHD.aspx. Good luck.

So from what i understand now i don't have enough things to use all 4 ports, which is ok i just think it looks cooler with all 4. Now all i need is fans, everyone seems to like gentle typhoons. Should i get 5 of them or go for push pull?

How loud are they, think i should get the 1150 rpm ones? I think those rads are low fpi so slower fans would work better?

Get at least the AP15s, the 1850rpm ones. The rads are 19fpi (linear, but split fins means twice as many rows as a regular rad so if you measure by rows, it is 38fpi), what I would consider "moderate-High density". The split fins do allow for better heat dissipation at lower fpi than regular fins, it seems, but the EX series rads are about equivalent to the RX rads at 1000-1200rpm but scale better at higher speeds, so some 1800rpm fans (assuming equivalent static pressure) would allow the EX series to perform better. Below 1000rpm and the RX will be the better performer.

Also, apparently the Crossflow are single pass, while the rest are dual-pass. This can be important if you don't have a huge amount of headroom. I would suggest getting the regular version for the top, and the Multiport version for the bottom.

However, if you really want to use a third port on the Apogee HD, you could get the Multiport for the top as well and have the CPU block outlet so that you have two tubes flowing into the top rad and two coming out. Theoretically this would cool the water a bit more, kind of like adding a third rad. I can't say for certain, but as the Multiport is only a few bucks more, it couldn't hurt to try.

So if i do the 2 multiport rads it would look like this? Couldn't i put 2 lines from cpu to top rad (Both in) and one out to gpu and another out to the bottom rad?

There's no point in having 2 lines to the rad from the CPU I think. And as for a dedicate line from the CPU to the GPU, probably there's little flow benefit.

The multi port feature comes in handy when you have 2 or more GPUs (so that you send water at the same temp from the CPU to the GPUs) and/or motherboard/RAM waterblocks, which create restriction lowering flow.

My (very practically limited) advice would be to have a simple, serial setup. Rad > CPU > GPU > Reservoir > Pump.

What do you want to accomplish with multi port? Maybe Stephen or Gabe from Swiftech can help you. Gabe has an account, I don't know about Stephen.
