HD 7970 (1125 Mhz) will easily beat GTX 560 Ti SLI. even otherwise if you have GTX 560 Ti 1 GB cards in SLI you are going to not be able to run games like BF3 at Ultra 4x MSAA at 1080p resolution. You are going to be VRAM bottlenecked. so your bragging doesn't make any sense.

If AMD keeps the price drops like they have been the 7970 will be $350 after the 660 ti hits from the green team.

I will have to go AMD!!

I have a microcenter local here, seriously considering picking up 2, the only thing bothering me is jumping brands, Been EVGA loyal since my 8800gt days, All 5 of my evga cards still work perfect and never had an rma. Cant decide if i should pick up 2 of theses or go with 670FTW sli. Very hard decision lol

Unless you are smart enough to buy the 2Gb versions biggrin.gif
I run BF3 in 3D maxed out graphics and I see no need to upgrade.

HD 7970 at 1050 Mhz is enough to better GTX 560 SLI.

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/618?vs=547

Metro 2033 , Batman AC,Total War Shogun 2 are all more than 2x faster than GTX 560 SLI. SLI scaling is normally in the 1.8x range.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Gigabyte/HD_7970_SOC/28.html

1920 X 1200

GTX 560 Ti - 53
HD 7970 Ghz - 99

Assuming 1.8x scaling (53 x 1.8 = 95.4) HD 7970 Ghz is faster than GTX 560 Ti SLI. thumb.gif
