memory leaking?

ok im using amd system monitor and the yellow on the bar says modified memory? wth is that? never heard of modified memory b4


p.s.- im using gskill sniper series 1600 mhz dual channel 2x4gb

also it says in my bios im using 1600 mhz but when i look in system monitor for amd it says 800 mhz. anyone know why it says that?

modified memory could be an XMP(extreme memory profile).Open cpu-z to the spd tab,see if it looks like the pic below.
It's double data rate so 800x2=1600.

AMDSM may be saying the ram is modified because of the XMP profile you are using, Also the way ran works is you take the base clock of your ram (in this case 800) and multiply it by 2. 800x2 = 1600MHz. Some monitors either look at the base clock of the RAM (800MHz) or look at the effective clock  (1600MHz).
