It isn't as bad on some pads, though this project wasn't much concern for Razer.

I know this thread is old, but just to let someone who stumbles over it know: My Abyssus doesn't do that on my Talent when set to 125 Hz and 1800 DPI. It has a little jitter on 1000 Hz and only kind of looks like what is seen in the picture if you set to 1000 Hz and 3500 DPI. Or if you move the mouse extremely slow. Anyway, there are some old Abyssus out there with terrible jitter, it was fixed with a newer batch though. OP might just have an old one.

Ps. 75 gramm weight. In my opinion its rather less work involved in this mod, with a dremel ofc.

i can also confirm that abyssus -bought Oct/12- on a talent tracks great up to 1800 dpi @1000hz. No jitter whatsoever
