That's the spirit! I'm gonna join you soon enough.
I've got a few appliques I need to show off, and I needed a tinted window to use with my panel for my computer. Also, the PSU bay cover, will bolt on to the alu slab that is over the PSU, and cover it, I need to cut out (I need someone with a mill or something) Overclock.net with the flame on it. I'll cover it with acrylic and slap on white LEDs over the bay cover. But these are all in the plans, it will go over slowly.
I need to switch my GPUs to a single card, looking for a gtx 670 or a gtx 680 or a 7970. But I think I'll wait until next gen. I want the same performance of my 6970 crossfire in 1 card. Too bad I can't trade for a 6990, that would have made me happy :/
I'm thinking of a Black theme, with a few white accents, but we'll see.
I was thinking of saving this until later in the thread, but might as well get over with this now.
Eventually, everything will be blocked up. The ram, motherboard, GPU, and CPU. And those will then be liquid cooled, but with a water chiller, a cheap under $300 portable A/C.
Why is this a 3 part? Well besides my main components which is phase 1, my cooling and modding, phase 2, will end with phase 3. Getting a 512gb mid next year, when ssd prices should drop below .50 cent/GB and a 1440p panel, which should be cheaper next year. And that's a wrap after that. The most time will be spent on Phase 2. I need to get cables, mod, and prep all my components for sub ambient.
So it is a long build log, span months really
, but every month I'm going to buy components following August, like my waterblocks in september, and all the cables and modding done in October, and get the portable A/C and insulation material b[y December to go in conjunction with the cold of Indiana! Then I'll stop for a while, and finish in a few months later with the SSD and monitor.Constant updates though, if you guys want
