Home file and BF3 server

Ive got a fair idea in mind in what im going to use for my file server. The only question is how much grunt will it need to run a BF3 without giving every1 lag??? is this dependent on the server on the ISP connection feeding it?

you cannot run a battlefield 3 server from home. only so many licensed dedicated server companies can operate them
