830 dollar 3570 k VS $900 fx8150

Seriously, what do you expect in an Intel thread? I've owned both Intel and AMD and personally, I like Intel better. Why? It's better for overclocking and their 4 core CPUs match the 8 core CPUs of AMD. It's just that. The architecture is just better. There are times where the AMD 8 core wins but very minimal and you'll probably get better day-to-day results with an Intel 4 core. Overclocking is a whole easier for Intel's too.

Maybe, but as I said, this is in an Intel thread and I personally am a fanboy of Intel. Used to be AMD, but it got really bad. To be honest, I want AMD to start hitting back hard so that way Intel isn't so laid back. I hate it how every year they release something better by a hair.

Anyone remember how nice it was when Intel fought AMD with the Core 2 Duo?

Both CPUs are overkill for those GPUs if he's just gaming. Isn't there something with a better GPU? If I had to pick from those 2 I would pick the 8120 one because it has a better GPU.

This. I'd go for a 2nd gen i3 with a 7870 or something if that's an option. Looks like they have some build to order stuff so that could be a great way to go.
