TT Toughpower VGA 650w NOISE

So ive got a VGA Tough power 650w PSU for my GTX570 SLi Set up...

Ive noticed now I've got a very loud "Cricket Noise" coming form it Under load.

Does anyone here have any ideas?



(Ive tried to get as much dust out of it as i can, Changed power board ports.

I will be trying over things over the next couple of days, Different GFX cards, 1 GFX card, etc etc.)

My guess is the PSU is about to give up. Had an old ThermalTake PurePower 550 die on me after it started making a high pitch noise under load.
3 days later it didn't start the computer.
Btw, 650 watts for an oc'ed 2600k, 3 mechanical 7200 RPM drives, 7 fans AND 2x570's is pushing it smile.gif

650w VGA PSU...Sits in the Drive Bays.
Main PSU is 775w Toughpower (Enough to run the Whole system by its self....But heh...)

Out of curiousity is this consistent? When I think cricket I think short, repeating and consistent.

edit- I have an 850 toughpower in one of my rigs that makes an odd chirp that took me forever to figure out, and it was the fan changing speed.

This is CONSTANT, Always when displaying 3d.

Like In windows theres no noise....but in Skyrim: Game-play there's Noise, But when its Loading there's no Noise.


Same Deal with other games, Menus and loading screens is no noise....But as soon as theres 3d...Constant Cricket Noise.
