Budget power supply

Hi there guys

I was just wondering if anyone can help me to find a cheap power supply. In no way do I know what I'm looking for but I want to spend as little money on the psu as possible but obviously while not getting one that'll break.

It seems scan.co.uk does some good power supplies but I'm not sure how expensive I need to go? If anyone could take a look at scan.co.uk and give me a point in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

However one problem may be that I'm not sure of what case to buy either, would this be significant or will most psus fit most cases? Or if any of you could recommend a case (cheap as possible, not bothered about aesthetics...) too that would also be much appreciated!

Hey James,

You need a PSU with two PCIe connectors for that setup (to avoid using adapters), this would make a good choice, it's also rather cheap.
Any case that could fit a standard ATX power supply would do, here's a decent cheap option.

I would say this is better than the Thermaltake, though it's out of stock right now.
