Asrock Z77 Pro3 for slight overclocking? need opinions.

Thread Starter
Ok, so I am finally deciding to switch over to Intel from AMD. I AM ON A VERY STRICT BUDGET!

I was planning on just getting a new high-end AMD motherboard, but then I thought it would be useless.

Budget ~$250 including processor and motherboard.

I can buy from Microcenter, and they have a $50 discount with a 3570k and z77 or z68 motherboard.

So far I am deciding between the Asrock z77 pro3 or pro4...

Can I get at least 4.0GHZ with Pro3 or Pro4 with Corsair H50 (push pull with two 1600rpm fans; 30C ambient peak temperature) with a 3570k?

THANKS! ANY OPINIONS APPRECIATED! I will update later...

If you guys are still wondering how I can squeeze a mobo and 3570k in $250 see this picture....

eh..It'll probably be aight..
I'd feel a little safer with a tz68k+ or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128488

..but then you may have BIOS problems..I'm not a big fan of 3570k..2500K is just about as good and runs a lot cooler..

erm...actually i don't think microcenter has any 2500k processors in stock and the 3570k is only $189.99 in Microcenter

anyway, I prefer the 3570k, because mainly this is my first intel build and I want top of the line stuff biggrin.gif

is 3570k compatible with z68? i might consider the extreme3 gen3 but Microcenter doesn't them in stock so no $50 discount

any other Z77 options?
