Thread Starter
Hey guys,
I can't decide which OS to install on a Samsung N145 Plus. http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Samsung-N145-Plus-1.66GHz-160GB-10.1-inch-Netbook-Refurbished/5785523/product.html
It originaly came with Windows 7 but what would perform better? Windows XP or Windows 7 on it?
Specs:

Does that come with a stripped down win7? I wouldn't downgrade if you are going to stick with windows, just optimize.
Linux does have some really good distros that go well with netbooks. Even has awesome cloud based ones like Peppermint OS.
I hackintoshed my mini but that was just me being cute. A barebones win7 or a few of the linux distros are pretty good choices.

If you're OK with terminal usage for getting programs installed then I'd recommend Bodhi Linux. Otherwise Lubuntu is a good choice.
