LoL feel choppy?

Thread Starter
So on my desktop, LoL is silky smooth.

On the laptop, I get about 50-60fps which should be more than adequet, but it still feeeels choppy? I can turn down settings a tad to get closer to 60, but anything less than 60 just doesn't feel right. Anyone else notice this?

Using the A10-4655M

Does your laptop have two GFX cards? It could be micro-stutter.

I don't play LoL, though, despite persistent pressure from my friends. Regardless, this is the only cause for the difference between the two 60FPS's I can think of.

Then I have no idea. Apart from it perhaps being driver related. What is the laptops GPU?

The last patch, my FPS dived to 30fps max with high settings on LoL, even though I can max pretty much every other game fine. Played some games today with the new patch and my FPS has returned to 100+. No idea what is causing it, some patches force me onto medium just to get 60fps+. A lot of it gets mentioned in the LoL forums, but never a solution.

A long time ago I had an issue with LoL where when the game started, I would be stuck at 30 fps with my system below and it was very choppy and unplayable. The way I would fix this was by alt tabbing and going back in, and I would get my 60 fps back. I later fixed this by updating my video card drivers.

About 1500 at 720p, a little more than double that of a bare trinity APU.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-6720G2.57274.0.html

League settings are all high with shadows medium....My laptop has dual graphics with a 6650m and 6520g.

Dota 2 settings are all high except no shadows and animated portraits are turned off.
