mm67, where did you get the figure in your app_info file for the flops reference (1157115231469.729200)? I've always been curious how people come up with this number. Or if it is something that BOINC provides during benchmarking?

As far as I know those numbers are just used to calculate initial completion times with a new project, after some tasks are finished a correction factor is calculated to make estimation more precise. So I think those numbers don't really matter, I have just been using some random numbers from other people.

I was poking around on Moo's message board and there are a few on there with the very same issue as us. They seem to think the issue lies within BOINC manager 7.0.25 and 7.0.28. Everyone that does not have a problem with Moo is running an older version of BOINC. 6.x.x
I don't know where to find an older version of BOINC to test it out. Unless anyone here is running BOINC Manager 7.0.25 or later and is successfully running Moo on their ATI cards.

I sure don't have any problems with 7.0.28 and Moo :

It is up and running. A bit slower than it was since the second card has downclocked to 150/250. But it is running and finishing a work unit on each gpu in around 45 minutes as compared to around 30 minutes with 7.0.28.

Check your clocks with GPU-Z, I've seen wrong clocks reported in other programs.

It seems like the card is stuck in some power conservation mode. Nvidia cards used to have that problem with certain driver versions. Have you tried an older version of the video card drivers?

I am using the 12.7 beta drivers right now, I will remove and install an older set very soon. Going to let it run at half speed till the BgB is over then remove and replace everything. Work units that should be taking 30 minutes are taking almost an hour. I got a list in front of me of things I want to try including drivers, different projects and different versions of BOINC. We'll figure it out. thumb.gif

My cards have the same problem sometimes. What I do is use the OC program to reset the clocks, then reapply them and they work fine. But everytime I put my computer to sleep I have to redo it.

I use Sapphire TRIXX btw
