Strange Problem

I just finished transferring my components to my new Rosewill Challenger. However, when I tried to boot up, nothing happened. There was an LED on the motherboard that was on, so the mobo had power. I checked all of the connectors, still nothing. I tried unplugging the 4-pin connector from the 20+4 pin ATX connector, and it worked, except the CPU fan wouldn't spin. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

It works. I used the Power Switch when it POSTed using the 20-pin connector.

I just got it to POST using the 24-pin connector, don't know why that didn't work before, but the CPU fan still won't spin.

unplug and plug back the cpu fan plug

No good. I also tried plugging it in the system fan header, still nothing. The fan does have a molex connector, but I would prefer not to use it, as the fan is very loud at full speed.

have you tried pluging another fan into the cpu fan header on the board

Did you look closely at the fan plug connection to see if one of the wires worked its way out of the plug, has happened to me before but usualy on molex. Good luck.
