Hi dug up my old prommy out of the shed hasnt been used in years but is in great nick was thinking about putting it on my gtx680 lightning will it be enough to sustain the heat ?? anyone modded one to fit a GPU any info would be appreciated

Yes but you'll need to change out the evaporator head to a side mount head.

Hmmm, my Mach 1 has a side mount evap head. I thought they came that way but I bought it used so perhaps not. I just use a rear backplate for some old air cooler to slid over the mount and a second backplate on the back of the GPU. Slide some bolts through both plates, through the card mounting holes and some springs for tension and works like a charm.
