Interesting, does the VRM frequency help it out much? And right now I'm just trying to get stock stable, then overclock later

For the life of me I cannot figure out what the issue is. I don't think the CPU is bad, unless the memory controller is broken. I ran 10 passes on an Intel burn test last night

Yeah man i tried that a few times :/ i have been going back and forth between windows 7 and windows 8 as well as ubuntu 12.04. Could my solid state drives have anything to do with it? Or the fact that my sata ports are in raid mode?

Yes, RAID mode implies AHCI. I have tried AHCI itself without luck as well.
