Here is a bench with 2 GTX 580 Classifieds running at 950MHz....

According to the "preview" this card trounces that score for less than half the price.

Now, how is this card supposedly on par with a GTX 560 ti or GTX 570? This card will most likely win some stock benches against the HD7950 & HD7970.

7850 CF can get on par i guess & 7870 CF will beat it easy.
Especially when they're selling at cheap $210 & $255.
660ti @ $300 is quite expensive deal.
Cud be OK card at $199 may be.

thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif....The 660Ti seems like a good deal for only $299.99. If you guys take your eyes off the spec sheet and look at the actual performance you'll see that. Some of you just see "Nvidia" and instantly have to discredit or downplay it.

Look at the graphics only scores there mate. The total score means nothing at all.

So if this card keeps up with a 7950 and 7970, that means its right up there with the 670 and 680. I really doubt that's the case.

They also don't show what speed these 660's are running at. These could be overclocked as hard as they could be for all we know, which would explain why they're 2k points ahead of two 580's.

If people get GTX580 speed for $200 less and much lower power consumption I don't see how this card is a failure. I loved my GTX580, but I appreciate a smaller card that uses less energy and produces less heat.

This card will be a win for people who want a good upgrade from GTX560 and lower cards but have to consider value and a budget.

Except that 580's performance can be matched and exceeded by a $255 hd7870. Will 660 beat that price/perf ratio?bruce.gif

Those tests and scores don't mean crap in the real world. Real up to date games do and in those games the GTX 660 Ti at 1080p ultra 4x msaa becomes a 7850! hahaha, for 300? Get a 7870 and have better performance in games at 1080p ultra 4x msaa.

called common sense, in metro and avp benchmarks we already saw the GTX 660 Ti drop to 7850 performance when its 4x msaa 1080p @ ultra settings, oh and surprise surprise in those graphs the performance of the 7870 and 580 were hidden! HAHA! You have to be brain dead to not see what is going on, anybody who buys GTX 660 Ti fails hard. On a budget? 7850/7870. Best price performance? 7950/670.
