If we think of a CPU cycle as a taking up the time of a human heartbeat (0.5 seconds), then an SSD has a random read time of 1.7 days, and a HDD has a seek time of 16.5 weeks. Reading 1MB from an SSD is 11.6 days, and reading 1MB from an HDD is 7.8 months.

The difference between an SSD and HDD is staggering, I'm not sure how you haven't noticed it.

Graphene still way too expensive and there no mass production.... this requires BEC which is going to be massively more difficult to productionalize.

The title made me think there was a new kind of magnet that would destroy SSDs if it got near them lol.

Bose-Einstein Condensate.... particles behave "weird" when they reach near absolute zero. These unpredicted magnetic behavior only occur at very low temperatures like -260C!
