Anyone with a Corsair 600t white?

Thread Starter
I am looking for a new case and have been looking around and found the Corsair White Edition (£136) and was wondering what do you guys think of it? From what i have seen my setup should fit inside it (just need a confirmation) Can the HDD bays still be removed/moved closer too the PSU? as it seems like it can on the on the original(?) black version.

The Fan controller seems a bit useless as most people would use there own and with my current case i use my own. Is it possible too fit 2x120mm fans in the front or is it just on the top 2x120mm fans can be used?

Just think its time i replaced my scout the fans on the side can be very annoying. What other cases should i look at for a replacement? I plan on getting a H70 or something at some point as well, i know Air ones can be better and cost less but i am thinking more about the space inside and such. Would a small WC setup fit in the case, though unlikely would be interested too know just in case i go that route in the future

1) Yes, they can be removed/moved.
2) It is indeed useless, and breaks pretty often. I've had two fail on me.
3) Only 200mm in the front.
4) In the same price range - Fractal Arc Midi, Coolermaster 690II Advanced, NZXT Switch 810, Shinobi XL, CM Storm Stryker. All of those save for the Fractal can be found in white. I'd suggest all of them over the 600T as well.

1) 120mm fan options.
2) Radiator mounting options.
3) Size in comparison to what you actually fit in it.
4) Some better features and consistent build quality
5) USB 3.0 headers rather than passthrough.

I agree with Michalius on the 600T SE. I mean, don't get me wrong, Corsair crafted a beautiful case with Graphite series, especially the white one. However, as a water cooler, the case just didn't cut it for me. The lack of intake fan options was a negative (as stated, only 200mm) and I personally couldn't do a push/pull setup for my top radiator due to how close the top of the case was to the motherboard. I could only do a pull, with the fans under the removable mesh panel on the top case. So that was my first issue, next was the size. I totally underestimated the size of this case, the shrouding on the outside is crafted nicely, but the actual dimensions come pretty close to a standard full tower, but still has the limitations of a mid. I did love the modular HDD cages and the PSU bracket though. That made the case a little easier to work with. As Michalius also said, the fan controller does suck. Mine too failed on me.

If you're not a serious water cooler and you don't mind the size, fan options, and the fact that the fan controller sucks, I would go for it. This case is good for a regular build, it just doesn't fit the bill when you start trying to go out of the realm of air cooling.

Mmmmmmm are there any good water cooling cases out there that look NICE. All the ones mentioned already are just SO ugly too look at. Then again i have seen some VERY nice 600T builds that use Water cooling. I doubt i would need a huge WC build or anything. Currently topping out at 43c on my CPU and 63c on my GPU after a few hours on prototype i know not the most demanding game but still gotta love brutally killing random people lol

Though i mention WC its very doubtful it would happen...been saying i have wanted too get into it for ALONG time lol so would likely just be something like a H80 or something (space saver compared too some of the HUGE air coolers) its not as if its REALLY needed (unless those temps are worse then they should be) i average out when not gaming at 25c on CPU and 39c on the GPU currently but the fan speed is only at 70% it would be lower but i would like it somewhat quite lol

As for Fan Controller that wouldnt really bother me as i use my own anyway, though having it to begin with would be kinda annoying seeing as how it would be going too waste

I mean, don't let me change your mind. I forgot to mention that you can use a 200mm radiator in the front if you would like to. I contemplated it for awhile before I switched cases. If you do a 240mm rad in the roof, you can do a 200mm rad in the front. Also with the radiator in the roof you can use the 200mm Corsair fan that was there to do a push/pull in the front. The Graphite is still a very capable case for what you want to use it for. Stick the H80 on the normal exhaust fan placement and you'll be good. I would still have the case if it had some slight modifications to suit my specific OCDness in a case.

Yeah i saw about possibly adding a 200mm rad setup in the front but it just didnt seem too be that worthwhile. I was thinking something along the along the lines of having a Push-Pull setup with a H80 and having 2x120mm fans in the top pulling air out with the front air take one pulling air in. Though im not 100% sure how well that would.

Its more about wanting a nice case, something that isnt too childish/Gamer case anymore the Scout just annoys me when i see it everyday.

I've been in the same boat as you...you want something that is a little more mature and stylish looking rather than something childish and ugly like the HAF series, but still performs well and can have the custom computer look. If you're sure you want to go with one of the all in one liquid coolers, then the Graphite will suffice just fine. You'll just hit limitations if you ever decided to go ALL OUT water cooling.
