Nice, I wonder how these will compare with Apple's 27" monitors. I sure hope they're less than the ridiculous $1000 price of Apple's display, especially considering the price of the Catleap/Achieva monitors.

Anyway, one question remains - glossy or matte screen, as I heard on another forum it might be glossy, which I dislike.

So you're failing to see how this is newsworthy by going "off the top of your head" information with the predeceding model; u2711?

A major change is that the u2713 will be LED backlight instead of CCFL found in the u2711

This new model uses an LED backlight instead of CCFL.

And I can never understand people that actually LIKE having their hi-res picture distorted by matte coating...

I have also fallin' madly in love with the matte finish, which works incredible with photo editing and such... and i have absolutely no quams about gaming with it either.

you boys should play nice and keep on topic.

I really hope this brings a decent mark down on older models....
