[TPU] Dell Ultrasharp U2713HM Monitor Leaked - Page 14

Thats a U2412M, U3011 and 24" iMac side by side. I have since replaced the iMac with a 27" model but it isn't much bigger in footprint. I have considered selling the U2412M and replacing with this new 27" Dell as it will be a match resolution wise for the iMac (so I could use as either a 2nd screen or mirrored output) and it would give me a little more screen estate. I don't think the 27" Dell is that much bigger then the 24" either.
While we are on the subject of smaller panels with higher res I too am unsure why this hasn't become mainstream. I did ponder selling my Macbook Pro 17" in favour of the new retina 15" but when I thought about it, I have a 1920x1200 display crammed into 17"!! Yes its bloody heavy to lug around but it really is a genuine mobile desktop system.

Directly beneath the shuttle controller under the desk on the left. Does it matter lol?

No lol.

If you do vid editing I go with a 1600p + 1080p setup.

1600p to edit, 1080p to view like people would see it.

The Dell U3011 in the middle which I run the main interface of Premiere Pro is 2560x1600, the Dell U2412M on the right where I run full screen preview is 1920x1200 wink.gif

Then that's what I would do.

Anyway, seems I'll be playing the waiting game again. The other option is to go all in and buy U3011. Hopefully, I'll manage to stay sane and not spend too much lol.
About questions how someone can prefer matte - most content I view is of darker nature (gaming/movies), so the reflections are MUCH more annoying than the AG filter.
But to each his own. I'm just happy we're getting another model. thumb.gif

Get the 30". I love mine.

The coating took me a little getting used to but now I have lived with it I am really happy with it. Whites aren't as nice as on my macs but reflections can sometimes make them a pain to use.

I'd love to, but it's 1000EUR here, while 27 inchers are 500-600EUR. So it makes me hesitate a little tongue.gif

Wonder if they will do the same for the 30" monitor?
