I think what people are saying and also JC, is that Linux users are used to Open Source and thus don't pay for the majority of software...That is the way it is.. As for the Indie bundle......did that out sell units to say the windows version?
The reason I see that it cost more is because they knew that it wouldn't sell as many numbers as the windows version.....
hollowtek, how well do DX 10/.1/11 games run under Linux ? I haven't looked into it lately...

You do understand that DX/D3D will never be "officially" allowed under Gnu/Linux because of MS. Also, we don't need DX/D3D...we have openGL which is pretty much 1:1 with D3D with each one having a few features more or less than the other. Should note that OpenGL had tesselation before D3D and is also cross platform (PC, console, pad, phone).
Also, we may not pay for software in the old fashioned way...but we support it through something called donations. You like a project you fund it. Simple as that. Of course that requires more maturity and responsibility than the majority of consumers are capable of. Also, there is nothing indicating one way or another that games on Gnu/Linux wouldn't be profitable. It's just the ignorance and laziness of fear mongering studios (which may be influenced by MS) that they won't dev for Gnu/Linux.
