Some small things to consider...
Disable any "Spectrum" related options in the BIOS.
Try Disable Legacy USB.
Although the norm is to set the PCIe to 100MHz, many have found 110-112 has allowed higher OCing on some MBs due to the effect of harmonics when voltages are increased on the MB's CPU/HTT/Chipset.

do u use usb or not?

i use usb sound card so its not on the pci bus

keeps everything just a little more stable

even though sticks of ram may be the exact same ratings, timings.. there isnt one stick that is exactly like another.. try moving the sticks around.. keeping track of the sticks of course.. the harmonics of the exact clocking makes the most difference when it comes to gates. thats y bumping the voltages helps.. it opens the gates faster to help remove the harmonics.. bad side is that more voltage = more heat... so if ur going to run volt modded ram or even ram higher then its rated voltage get a active cooler blowing on them.. it helps alot..

i was overclocking last night and even an increase in .15V above rated makes them get hot.. even for half an hour....

too bad my board stinks and the cpu cooler stinks worse.. fried my good one.. and my good heatsink doesnt fit this board.. or my overclock would be alot higher.. iv had this cpu close to 2.8 but this mobo just doesnt do anything higher then 2.2 with out getting something weird going on

Most legacy USB1.1 devices should work with out the "Legacy" Enabled.
The version of USB should be on the device.
I have a MS mouse that's 1.1 on a system with legacy disabled and it works fine.

depending on when you bought your 3500+ that may be as far as you can take it. My 3500+ is a piece of dog crap that can only hit 2.6 GHz. anything after that and it crashes no matter how much voltage i put to it.

Nice OC! You should be able to squeeze a bit more out of that chip. Continue to slowly up the fsb. If you're running into a stability issue with the memory, put a divider in. Your vcore seems a bit high. Is the system unstable if you lower your vcore a bit?

that's about wher my 3500+ stopped...

Then I popped the top off and got lower temps...was quite nice.

Good luck on the memory.
