The AX1200i is a epic PSU, but for 4 way systems the best PSU is the Enermax Platimax 1500W as it has 10 x 6+2pin PCI-E connecters.

Due to feedback, we'll make available the "Y" style cable we use on AX650/750 for AX1200i users who want to use 8 PCI-E devices simultaneously with 2 EPS12V devices. I didn't realize it would be such a big deal, but I was wrong, so I'll put the product into development. Anybody who buys an AX1200i and wants the 7th and 8th PCI-E cables will be able to contact us at get the cable free of charge.

Also, an important note.
The AX1200i uses the same modular connectors as our HX and TXM PSUs, what we internally call the "Type 3" connector.

In the past, we've had multiple types of connectors.

TYPE 1
• AX 1200
TYPE 2
• AX 850/750/650
TYPE 3
• AX 1200i
• HX 1050/850/750/650 (gold)
• TXM 850/750/650
TYPE 4
• HX 520/620/650 (bronze)

Going forward, we will be standardizing all PSUs to use the TYPE 3 connector.

The only difference between an HX cable set and an AXi cable set would be the 24-pin.

We will make this available by the end of the month on our website.

Also, an important note.
The AX1200i uses the same modular connectors as our HX and TXM PSUs, what we internally call the "Type 3" connector.
In the past, we've had multiple types of connectors.
TYPE 1
• AX 1200
TYPE 2
• AX 850/750/650
TYPE 3
• AX 1200i
• HX 1050/850/750/650 (gold)
• TXM 850/750/650
TYPE 4
• HX 520/620/650 (bronze)
Going forward, we will be standardizing all PSUs to use the TYPE 3 connector.
The only difference between an HX cable set and an AXi cable set would be the 24-pin.
We will make this available by the end of the month on our website.
