G.SKILL X.M.P Manual causing BSoD?

Hey guys!

I would first point out that English isn't my native language, so please bear with grammatical errors/misspellings :-)

I have recently build my first PC, and finally managed to install all the necessary stuff etc. This also included Battlefield 3 and in about an hour of intensive playing, suddenly a BSoD was shown on the screen. Just bad luck or something, I thought.

But after a couple of times reinstalling Windows, the damn BSoD appears again.

The BCCode:50 is showing and after searching, a lot of people says, that it's most likely bad RAM.

I ran Memtest86 several times, and it found no errors at all.

Then I suddenly realized, that maybe my RAM overclocking (boosting from 1600MHz to 2400MHz) was in some kind of way incorrectly set, so I'd would like to ask you guys, if I'm doing this wrong.

I use the official X.M.P Manual from my RAM manufacture; G.SKILL (this link: http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=443)

- Just scroll down and select ASUS Rampage IV Extreme [X.M.P Manual]

Is this the right way to do the boosting, or could this make some troubles and cause BSoD?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency or uncore multi unstable, increase RAM voltage or adjust QPI/VTT, or lower uncore if you're higher than 2x
