easy way to back up drivers?

Thread Starter
I am going to reformat my laptop - is there an easy way to back up all my current drivers and injecting them after the reformat finishes?

Not easily but you want to be downloading the latest from their website anyway.

This is not a build log, moved thread to Windows forum.

Unfortunately there's not an 'easy way'. Sometimes the maker of the laptop will have a page on their website that has a list of links to downloads of all the main drivers and/or apps that come preinstalled on the machine though. Could grab all those, install them after the reformat, then go looking for the few drivers that you generally really want to keep updated like video, audio, and chipset and install the latest versions of those directly from the companies that made the part. If you have an Optimus system though I recommend getting your video drivers from LaptopVideo2Go rather than nV directly.
