well my new cherry 3770k just got here today so my hands are full for the time being. I have so much on my benching "to do" list right now and unfortunately this is near the bottom now. I threw the combo up in FS forum but if it doesnt sell ill jump back on this in a few weeks.. if anything changes ill update biggrin.gif
thanks guys for the AMD crash course.. despite the rather short run i really did learn a lot in the last few days of messing with this thumb.gif

By "Fail", XC means that it wouldn't be able to compete with any of the LN2 scores at all.  Some other platforms (like Sandy and 775) can still be competitive on DICE, but AMD can't.

i still wanna bench bulldozer maybe.. or wait for the new chips that are coming out, is it called piledriver?
anyways, i still have it to do.. i def wanna own and bench a good amd platform at some point.. i just didnt feel that last setup was what i was looking for
