Need a new PS - Page 3

Place of purchase doesn't matter to me and I would like to be below $200. So if I'm understanding you correctly your saying I'm using 770 watts. A friend loaned me a Enermax 800 and the minute it went under a high load the pc would shutdown. If I ran the cards stock it was fine. Same exact thing my HX1000 does and now my EX1000. Today I borrowed a Lepa 1600 and my system ran 100%. I maybe wrong but I think I need at least a 1000 watt PS. Thanks for all the replies.

Hmm with three 470's OC'ed I'd say yes, 1000W would be a good number.

ive got the x1250 and its a great psu. for 170 for the 1050 you should jump on that asap.

Well I ordered the Seasonic from Newegg and my great luck continues, they charged my card and just notified me that they're out of stock frown.gif But it gets better I had $205 on my debit card and now Newegg says it'll be 3-7 business days for a credit. What kind of BS is that? So looks like no new PS for me frown.gif

The problem was I bought the combo which was the PS and a cheap test bench and the bench was out of stock if I used the 15% off code. But its all set now.
