Need a New Monitor - Please Help

Alright. So I am looking to upgrade my wife's monitor. Long story short she is a graphic designer and she games as well with me.

So I will be looking for a monitor that is friendly to both uses. Ideally, it will be IPS panel or something similar. Further, at least 23".

Personally, I would not mind giving her my Dell IPS monitor if I found something different that was perhaps 27", but I don't see any IPS panels or similar panels at a $350 or less price point just yet (preferably $300). So the target budget for a 23" IPS or similar technology panel would be $200 or less.

I did happen to see one monitor that seemed to be a pretty good deal, but am not sure if it is indeed a great option or not. Still too young and few reviews to tell. LINK HERE for this ASUS IPS 23" LED IPS monitor.

$200 IPS monitors aren't that great. The Asus might be okay, but whats another $150 to get a quality Dell that will hopefully last you a while?

I was looking for two options to choose from. As for why not spend more? Depends on the monitor.

I seemingly just found all the threads regarding the Korean monitors being sold that supply Apple for their newest displays. I am getting one for sure. Now the only question is do I go the ebay route or the one at Micro Center (I live near one)? And is one really better than another. From what I can tell the answer is no regarding the panel. So, is there a manufacturer that has better quality in general?
