What is considered high DPI?

Thread Starter
I was just wondering because I'm trying to decide whether to get the Speed or Control edition of the Razer Goliathus. From what I've read/heard, the speed edition is for high DPI users, and the control edition is for low DPI users. I set my mice to 1800 dpi.

Well now that the average resolution is 1080p, I consider anything over 1800dpi unfiltered to be high.

"the speed edition is for high DPI users, and the control edition is for low DPI users"

I believe what that means is if you are a low sens user, pick the Control, if you are a high sens user, pick the speed.

It takes me a full swipe from center of the pad to the border to do a 90 degree turn on Cs 1.6 (I'm a low sens player) and I'm currently using a Control. Used to have a couple of SS, but they were very hard to clean a felt sticky after a couple of months.

To be honest I don't think it really matters all that much. I would personally go for the speed edition cause it would be a little more slick, and I love slick & smooth thumb.gif

400 LOW
800 NORMAL
1600 HIGH

That's my take at it.
And go for speed edition. Much more comfortable on the hand.
