[Kotaku] DayZ is Officially Being Turned Into a Standalone Game

I was walking to cherno and off the side of the road on the hill. I saw someone moving so I stopped and saw he had an m24 sniper and was sitting on the rocks waiting to snipe people. I murdered him with my winchester. Got into town and got my legs broke by an Enfield over the hospital because I was being too ballzy with my winchester. I had just skipped a morphine pack at the hospital too by accident. Guy came around and killed me, I think it was more than one guy but cant know for sure. I could have won with the m24 but it only had like 3 bullets so I kept the 20 or so winchester rounds I had.

I was ducking and diving in medical tents and barely escaped an axe man when I had nothing lol... no mic on him... so annoying that no one talks or just murders everyone on sight... make the game into too much of a deathmatch imo...

Found someone in a barn and tried to help/talk to them but they didnt have a mic (should be bannable offense!!!). It was a female character so I was already less trusting since its more 99% chance to be bait or a jerk and a 1% chance if that to actually be a girl, more like 0.01%. They had a hatchet and I had a shotgun so I thought maybe I can make a friend. He was following me far behind and some sniper took us both out before we could get to cherno... kind of lame people camping the roads to town to prey on noobs...

My friend just got into the game and said he was near a light tower. I was like you mean lighthouse? I died from some heavily armed bandits and spawned near a lighthouse. So I gave him really good geographic info and he couldn't tell me anything. Then he was ate by zombies. I go over a hill and see him dead ROFL, I spawned like 20ft from him. He died to zombies in the open like a nab......................................... was pretty funny shoulda SS it for him so he would know I wasnt lying.
