I know I said that. I am now looking into how much data that would really use, uploading a few gigs of data. I know how to tether (With it using mobile data) but was inquiring if there was a way to tether and NOT use data. I now no that it is not possible. My brother was the one who HAD unlimited, but Verizon broke their own contract and took away his unlimited.Originally Posted by bluedevil
You don't make sense. In your OP, you wanted to get the internet from your Bionic WITHOUT using mobile data.
This is why I responded, In short, No.
You can however do a few things, you can subscribe to the Mobile Hot Spot (App on phone) for $20 for 2 additional GB.
You can download FoxFi (3rd party tethering software, not advised, breach of contract and could lead up to termination of service/court) and use the 4GB data plan that you currently use on your phone now. Use this with caution, see parentheses.

Though I may still be able to tether since the past two months I have only used 2 of my 4GB data. Is there a way I can calculate how much data it would take to upload something? Like a 2-3GB compressed video file?
