Alright, I know this topic has been covered several times but the reason I'm posting is because I get mixed reviews when I check benchmark sites when it come to processing speed and gameplay with these chips.

Some of these revies seem very biased such as the one from tweaktown where they compard the 2600k @ 5.2ghz vs the 8150 at only 4.76ghz

Performance/Overlocking/Gaming/Rendering and other program functions. Which is the best CPU among these three? The issue I'm having with the 3770k is that it gets too damn hot (I'll be using a waterloop from CPU to GPU and I'm sure this will effect the GPU temps critically) and can't be overclocked as much as the 2600k BUT IT'S AN IVY BRIDGE!!! The 2600k is cheaper and currently at a $20 off discount on Newegg.but it's the outdated SANDY BRIDGE
but generates less heat. The FX8150 even generates alot less heat at the same clock speed but it doesn't seem to perform well in CS4, and other programs..
I obviously will not use the integrated graphics but instead I'll used a 7970. As far as gaming goes, is it really that important to go with a 2600k or 3770k over the fx8150?
So which one would you guys recommend. The reason I'm considering the 3770k is because of that Ivy Bridge...but really, is it worth the increased temps and lower overclocking speeds as opposed to the 2600k (keep in mind I will be running a single liquid cooling loop; most likely with a triple 1400m and single 140mm rad looping from CPU to GPU)?

although FX 8120 for $160 is still a good deal from Newegg. Go 8120 if you are budget conscious or go 3770K if you want maximum performance that doesn't including moving to socket 2011
