Can't wait to hear your thoughts Vega. I haven't decided to go eyefinity or 120hz just yet.

I'd be curious whether, if running the Samsung and the Asus together in eyefinity, one outperforms the other with respect to the panel/controller's internal display lag. 144hz is nicer than 120hz for smoothness, but if, say, there are even just 10ms more lag in the 144Hz panel, that'd be a net loss for twitchy games.

patiently waiting for results:thumb:

i seriously hope it doesn't become overpriced when it hits US stores....I mean the VG278H (non E version) is already $600 at US dealers....so its hard to see the 144hz version being cheaper

Im totally expecting it to be cheaper. No 3D Vision kit included or built in sensor for the 3D vision.

It better be cheaper at least. By $100 or more I would hope.

ahh totally didn't catch that....that would make sense....I had the impression that this was the EXACT same thing as the VG278H but with a circuit board that is capable of refreshing 144hz instead of 120hz

Come on Amazon, hurry up and get these in stock!

Did a google shopping search. In stock in a few places. No idea about store rep but heres a couple links:

$488

http://www.compsource.com/ttechnote.asp?part_no=VG278HE&vid=46&src=F

$517

http://www.costcentral.com/proddetail/ASUS_VG278HE_3D_LED_MONITOR/VG278HE/11745905/froogle/

I would say Newegg should have it up later today or tom.
