That could be a network bandwidth issue.

I think he's using the Alt-R FPS display. If your network connection gets bad in WoW people will just appear to run in one direction forever and then pop back to where they were. There would be no drop in FPS.

Some things you could try is turning Spell Animation to 50% and disabling V-Sync. Also, turning off Rank, Names, and Guild Names helps a lot.

I didn't like how far I had to move the mouse to click my Right Action Bars (thats what I put them there for, to click.) but I'm sure I could fix that with a Bar Mod. You don't NEED to buy this from Matrox. Get any 3 LCD's (similar ones work best) and enough VGA ports, and Blamo!

I think CS:S supports changing the FOV
So are you saying that I do not need this to get that effect? all i need is 2 video card so that i have 3 ports and connect them as triple monitor? If that was true, why wouldn't people buy a second video card rather than buying this to make their triple monitor to work with games.

Just wondering cuz i am thinking of buying this. But realized that i can actually get 3 22in acer. But this maxes out at 1280x1024 resolution (for each screen) so 22 inch wouldn't work. So i was thinking i can have 2 GPU (sli or not) i can make triple display and wow on it. Does it not work that way?

Upping the resolution removes the cpu bottleneck - your GPU would definitely use all of its power at that kind of resolution

Triple SLI 8800 GTX could handle anything easily, not to mention you could use 3x 30" Monitors with it (7680x1600 resolution baby) .

There are a couple of situations where I would recommend this over just a second video card.

1 - Where the video card would be $300+
2 - Non-windows OS without multiple monitor support.
3 - Running cards in SLI, which doesn't support multiple monitors.

Also there is another consideration. You can, with the nvidia control panel at least, setup more than one monitor in a "Span" to acheive resolutions of say 3840x1024. With WoW I had to setup the monitors in a straight line - - - with Oblivion i could control the FOV and setup the monitors like this / - \\ to give a 180º view.

Now if the TH2G box has it's own FOV altering stuff it may be better for games that don't yet support setting the FOV.

8800 or SLI 7800,7900 (even single card) should handle triple montior setup with no problem. Especially WOW.

If anyone is looking into multi monitor setup for gaming, go for 3 monitor setup because 3 monitor setups are much more common.

And for those that have extra coin you can buy a seamless 3 monitor setup for about $16K.

where? give me a link! that's awesome!

wow, i found my way there. that's awesome, but the response time is 16ms, two times as slow as a gaming one should be.

I actually have a TH2G I setup with 3 19'' LCD's on my father's computer in teh other room. He's a flight sim nut so of course he had to have the 3 monitor display along with the flight yoke, throttle controls, rutters, god damn chair that shakes the whole damn house when he's landing...

The system it's on has a 7900GT I installed along with TH2G awhile back. I've never really bothered playing with the setup, but my father is actually gone this weekend, so I might load up oblivion and some other crap to test it out.
