I'm a sad sad panda.

If you read the changelog, they added in a bunch of changes to sound. Power, exponential, and trigonometric sound curves (Gldsrc). They also tweaked the sound for footsteps. The patch will be released soon.

Oooh I hope so. biggrin.gif

Any idea when the patch is out?

I picked this game up after a 4 or 5 year hiatus from CS:S. I quit because the community devolved into a bunch of idiots and the game got boring.

I pick this game up and I was jarred at how different all the guns were. All the recoil patterns I remember were all jacked up, the hitboxes are smaller, I'm basically having to relearn the game.

Does anyone else feel this way? I'm curious if it's because I'm rusty due to not playing for years, or did they legitimately change everything?

They did change a lot of things from CS:S. I prefer it because it reminds me of when I first started playing CS 1.0-1.1.
