Thread Starter
I decided to re-edit my thread this is the new build i am considering and would like you to tell me what you think of my set up.

This is my order.

Tell me what you think?

I think it's a good system that'll last for years. Cuz i might have a possible buyer who wants to buy my current system.

You are too picky.

My suggestion is to be less picky.

because: http://www.overclock.net/t/1210482/samsung-2x4gb-low-voltage-ddr3-1600-kit-ocing-to-2400-discussion/0_20

Really the best board for the money that I can think of.
If you need specific features though, they will guide your decision. I would still try to stick with ASRock, or ASUS of course.

Why do i need better ram? The one i have is much better than that one? I asked for a new build list and not just ram? O.o

I don't even wanna get close to Samsung. I'm used to GSkill. I never had problems with it?

Like i said i am NOT into HEAVY hardcore overclocking cuz i hate bsods.

Also can you take a look on the very first post and check the voltage on the Corsair PSU i am running? Does it look appropriate and normal to you?

I still feel like i need a new psu because this is kinda expired and old. I bought this off a fella in OCN forums last year and he said he had it for three years and it works well.

It could be that i'd like to start upgrading first cuz i know FALL will have some good deals.

I promise the RAM will run 2133mhz with 10-10-10-28-1t with 1.5-1.53v without a BSOD.

as for an entire build list... see what you can toss together on www.pcpartpicker.com and allow people to critique on it.

I don't know if it makes sense to get a 120hz monitor with a $1,000 build.

Are you wanting a 100% full rebuild of EVERYTHING, or are you going to reuse certain parts? Because $1000 to UPGRADE your current rig is a healthy chunk of cash and can go a very long way. A $1000 full build on the other hand...still doable, but not as huge of an upgrade.

That's a $2000+ build, not $1000. confused.gif

I feel you could do SOOO much better for the money there. Especially if you could put your GSkill / Corsair preferences aside and consider other very good options that are out there.
