New case advise

Thread Starter
The time has come to change my case as I plan to switch to water cooling in the next 6-12 months. My current case (Lian Li PC-75) which is not designed to house water cooling and the cable management is not great but it does have 8 HDD & 6 x 5.25 bays.

I've looked at so many reviews of cases in the last few weeks that I see cases when I close my eyes tongue.gif So I decided its time to ask the knowledgeable members of OCN.

The requirements for the new case are: -

minimum of 8 x 3.5 HDD bays (ideally 10 or more)
minimum of 3 x 5.25 bays (ideally 4 or more)
able to fit a E-ATX or XL-ATX motherboard
great cable management
space for 360mm Rad & 240mm Rad without losing any bays
no wider than 30cm due to space limits

The cases I've looked at so far that I've short listed are: -

Aerocool Strike-X ST
BitFenix Shinobi XL Full Tower Gaming Case
Corsair Obsidian 800D (6GB/s) Full Tower Case
NZXT Switch 810 Big Tower Case

All the ones I've looked at I have to compromise in one area or another.

I'm not worried what is looks like as it won't be for show and it doesn't need to have a window panel.

So the question is, what do you recommend?

I don't think you can do 240 + 360 in any of those cases without losing HDD bays.

That double requirement really narrows your choices. Little Devil PC-V7 is the only sub $400 case that comes to mind. Lian Li V750 as well, but would require modding.
