Update. I got the case mods done for the time being. I was unable to get the extra drive by covers so I could not get the front panel done the way I wanted. I settled for a more stock look for now.

Thanks, what did you think of my attempt at taking some decent pictures questionmark.gif

I really need to take o class or something. My sis runs a picture studio, maybe I should have her over to teach me how to take better photos. wink.gif

Anyway, I had a slight problem the other day. My GTX 670 with waterblock attached came crashing to the ground fron the top of a case box. I had placed it there before I started installing all of the components. There where some foam mats leaning against the box and when I placed the side panel on the foam mats that little extra bit of weight was to much and the box tipped sending the GPU to the concrete. There was a little bit of damage to the corner of the PCB but I hav tested the GPU and it still works. I have got the system together now and ran some temp tests last night and everything is working good. I still need to get the cable management done and then I will run some benchmarks and temprature test and post the results along with the final pics of the build. thumb.gif

One of the Hardest things about Pic taking is getting the Right Lighting for the Subject matter.. Having a Kick ass camera doesnt hurt either. I use the Canon S100.. Nothing special. Still learning about Photography too TBH.

I bet you had to change your shorts after that card hit the Deck.. OH!!! lmaosmiley.gif

I like the Back drop good choice to contrast the Black.. The light in one of the pics is Wrong Too Yellowish.. But that happens to me too.. My camera takes Raw photos ,, i need photoshop or something for editing

I try to use natural light as much as possible. Regular House lighting or fluorescent lighting is Harsh.. You did get good Definition though thumb.gif

Thanks, I have a Canon RebelT2i camera and the lighting I was using is hologen shop lights. It was very late and there was no natural light. Next time I will have to take the pictures in daytime to get better lighting.

I almost started to cry when I saw the GPU on hte ground. I was installing the motherboard when I heard the crash and totally forgot that the GPU was on the box. After I was finished installing the motherboard I went to pick everything up and that is when I realised the GPU had fallen. ohno-smiley02.gifsozo.gif

Dont feel bad.. i dropped a screwdriver on one of my finished Orange panels .. chipped straight through to the Primer.. Sanded off the clear and color .. and re primed this morning..
of course it was the Big side panel that takes the most paint to cover...
Talk about crying.. well more Swearing than Crying TBH.. sozo.gif

I can see your frustration, that is two days redoing work that you already spent so much time on.

I just hope I never have to RMA the card otherwise they may notice the damaged PCB and not honor the warranty. redface.gif

Thanks man. I am ready to move on to a new project. I like the way the build turned out but wish the powder coating came out better. That first shop really messed up the case, needless to say I will be doing my own painting next time. thumb.gif
