I know the CM SCOUT has been out for 3 yyears now, but thats the only case that looks cool to me, should i still get it and is it able to become future proof ?

Everything is pretty much standardized in cases these days.. bottom mounted PSU, ATX/mATX support, 3+ HDD slots, 3+ 5.25 bays, removable back panel, cable management holes, etc. It's all about the looks for generic mid tower air cooling

the storm scout doesn't have a lot of the features other cases have, just saying. I owned one.
It doesn't have rubber grommets for cable routing, it doesn't have good/easy to use fan filters for cleaning. It doesn't have a lot of space behind the motherboard tray.
It does look nice though! If you want future proof get something bigger with nice grommets, lots of good fans.

I still love the Scout case. I can afford to buy expensive cases but I'm sticking with my Scout mainly for looks.

It can accomodate a standart ITX mobo. You can carry it around without breaking your back. It's still very cool to look at. I'm not planning to buy any other case anytime soon. I still love the Scout.
