hey guys,
I have an OCZ ZX850W power supply. I had it hooked up months ago worked fine. I got the bug to sleeve the 24 pin and then I went to try it out. I got everything hooked up, 8 pin, 2 6 pins, 24 pin.
Plug in the power supply flip the switch and everything turns on. The only thing is that the POST display does not come on, I hear no beeps. Nothing comes on my screen , but all the lights, fans, gpu is on, even the light on the motherboard itself that is separating the sound pcb from the motherboard pcb.
Now that I think about it when I was sleeving I ran into the double wire issue. So I recall that I said well i just replace this double with a single, put the other wire in the hole that was unoccupied and it should work....
well obviously something is not working. I would assume that because everything turns on when I flip the switch on in the back that the "sense" wire is not correct. I did a 24 pin test and got "LL" on +12V2 and on 5VSB.
If you guys know any way to trouble shoot this issue that would be amazing! I have been reading pin outs and trying to find where I could have possibly messed up.
Thanks for the help!
