I'm not familiar with too many mechanical keyboard brands. I know about Filco, Ducky, Leopold, Razer (ugh), SteelSeries, and those big brands, but I would just like your guys' opinions before I make my purchase.
Currently, I own the Steel Series 6Gv2. While it's a great keyboard, I often do more typing than gaming, and I would like a board with easier-to-press keys. That's why I'm considering the MX Browns, since I don't like how loud the blues are, and don't intend to get any O-ring mods. From looking around, I found this Filco,
and it looks like my best bet. Can anyone else back me up on this? I have no preference on the board as far as lights or macros go, since I have a G13 and my room is generally well-lit. Of course, if there's a better board in this price range with those things, I'll take it. My only stipulation is that it has the number pad, since I use a lot of the alt codes for forums.
