Pick Me a Mobo For a 960t

Thread Starter
Im looking for your personal recommendations for an AM3+ mobo for my 960t. Im mostly looking for better OCing performance over my current mobo (ASUS M5A97). A USB 3.0 header and SLI would also be a plus, but not mandatory.

I can spend hours reading specs and reviews, but I'd rather hear your guys' personal opinions on motherboards you've actually used and loved and why. If you can recommend a board you've used with the 960t, it would be even better. Im not as concerned with budget as I am with getting the most out of my dollar.

Oh yeah, core unlocker is a must. Right now I run x4 @ 3.8 and x6 @ 3.5 (when I'm working on video projects) with pretty nice temps, but I can't seem to get anything better while keeping the voltage in the safe zone. I'd like to run x4 with at least 4GHz 24/7.

Yes! These are the boards I've been eyeballing, but they do have a lot of extras I don't exactly NEED. But for $100, how can I say no to that delicious Sabertooth?! Where is that site based out of, and does anyone have any experience buying a referb from them?

I have experience buying from them so far since I order my sabertooth 990FX refurbished from them. The price is so good to be true I figure at the worse case I have 90 days to exchange it or return it. Still I believe you get 3 years warranty for refurbished motherboard by ASUS. So far this board has done me good and is now cheaper than what I pay for so for $99 is a steal. Geeks.com are pretty good about communicating with you too if you run into problems from what I heard. They shipped the board about the same time I got my order from newegg and both company deliver them on the same day. I say give them a shot, if anything call them and talk to them they are pretty good with customer service. thumb.gif I will buy from them again.
