is there some way to convert a barb fitting to a compression fitting?

Hi, i was going to buy the Asus Maximus V Formula, and i plan to watercool everything. The problem is that the fittings on the fusion thermo are barbs, not compressions. is there any way to convert them to compressions while still looking nice? like placing a rubber loop over the barb and placing a compression over that?

Any Ideas? Thanks

There isn't really a good way to turn a barb into a compression fitting.

no. barbs do not have the threads for the compression top to screw onto.

If you want compression fittings, buy them. No, you can not convert barbs into compression fittings.
