Quick Question: i3 2367m vs i5 2467m for university?

Hey guys,

Just quickly, should I go with the UX21E i3 2367m 64GB or UX21E i5 2467m 128GB.

The i5 has hyperthreading, however its $1100 and the i3 is $718...

Storage isn't a big deal.

Input would be greatly appreciated!

Is this just a web surfing/office work notebook? I would think the i3 would be fine if thats all its being used for. 64gb will fill up quick after windows is installed though, and those msata drives arent cheap. Might be worth it in the long run to go with the i5/128gb model.

Its only being used as a secondary PC for travel, and uni so essentially its just upto is the processor enough?

For the price its a bargain that's all

yeah id go for it, the $400 price difference is tough to swallow for a bump in processor power and 128gb ssd. Those are slick notebooks!

I would personally get a i3, dont see the need for the extra power or storage.

I could see a use in the 128gb SSD, but with that type of notebook, what can you do beyond surfing and word processing? right? Music storage? I think the the i3 model is a good buy!

I bought the i3 64GB version and it's awesome.

Perfect for what I'm doing.

Storage isn't an issue as I have to carry around an external drive anyway so all my games, music, videos and back ups are on there.
